For Miami’s rising composers and musicians, WriteSounds achievements as songwriters and producers throughout the late 90’s and today never overshadowed their own efforts as talented performers. They are living proof that raw talent, ambition and honesty can still prevail in an ailing music industry. While being extremely vocally talented, WriteSounds also composed and produced music for local and international artists. Their sounds and harmonies have no limit and provide a combination of mellow vocals, rhythmic guitar, and smooth saxophone with elements of reggae, hip-hop, punk, jazz, pop and r&b.
Lead singers, Julian & Rodrigo Medeiros were both signed to J-Records directly by the legendary Clive Davis. Medeiros’ recording credits include “If I Knew” from Doctor Doolittle 2 film and “Shiver” from the film Special Delivery starring Ashley Tisdale (from High School Musical). They‘ve written, composed and played music for artists including Celo, Oscar de La Hoya, Camile Velasco of American Idle, Howie D of BackStreet Boys, and Paulino Rubio to name a few.
